AP/AR/Payroll Operations

This part-time position involves payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions for two growing construction companies. The person in this role will help maintain accurate financial records, process weekly payroll, and assist with day-to-day accounting tasks that keep operations running smoothly.  As well as other operational/office duties as requested.

Key Responsibilities

·       Enter and maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.

·       Process weekly payroll and track payroll-related data.

·       Verify receipts, deposits, credit card transactions, and expense reports.

·       Prepare, organize, and maintain financial and payroll records.

·       Assist with tax payments, returns, and other accounting support tasks as needed.

·       Collaborate with project managers and internal team members to support business operations.

Qualifications

·       Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and accounting practices.

·       Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, record-keeping, and payroll accounting.

·       Strong accuracy in accounting tasks and data entry.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Foundation software is a plus, but training is available.

·       Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.

·       Ability to explain and interpret fiscal policies and general accounting information.
